Sabi Farm Seller Payment Schedule

How and when distributors and dealers receive payments for completed transactions
Last Updated: June 2025 | sabi.farm | supportteam@sabi.farm
Overview
Sabi Farm operates a wallet-based payment system. When a buyer completes a purchase, funds are credited to the seller’s Sabi Farm wallet after the applicable settlement period. Sellers then withdraw from their wallet to their registered bank account, subject to the withdrawal rules for their account tier.
Settlement — When Funds Are Credited to Your Wallet
Funds are credited to the distributor’s or dealer’s Sabi Farm wallet immediately upon transaction completion — when the buyer’s payment is confirmed and the order is accepted by the seller.
⚠ Immediate settlement applies to standard transactions. Funds may be held where a dispute is open, fraud is suspected, or a regulatory hold applies. Sellers will be notified promptly if a hold is placed on their funds.
| Event | Wallet Credit Timeline |
| Buyer payment confirmed + order accepted | Immediate |
| Transaction under active dispute | Held — resolved within 14–30 business days |
| Fraud or security review triggered | Held — seller notified within 3 business days |
Withdrawals — Moving Funds to Your Bank Account
Withdrawal rules depend on your account tier. The following limits apply:
| Account Type | Withdrawal Frequency | Minimum Withdrawal | Processing Time |
| Distributor — Free Account | Once per week | ₦5,000 | 1–2 business days |
| Distributor — Pro Account | Unlimited | ₦5,000 | 1–2 business days |
| Dealer Account | Once per week | ₦5,000 | 1–2 business days |
ℹ Upgrading to a Pro account removes the weekly withdrawal limit. See the Fee Schedule for Pro subscription pricing.
Held & Withheld Funds
Sabi Farm may place a hold on wallet funds in the following circumstances:
- An open buyer dispute covering the relevant transaction.
- A fraud or impersonation investigation involving the account.
- A regulatory request or court order.
- A compliance review under the Dealer & Distributor Programme Terms.
Sellers will be notified within 3 business days of any hold being placed, with a reason provided where permitted. Held funds will be released or resolved within the applicable dispute or investigation timeline (maximum 30 business days for disputes).
Rolling Reserves & Risk-Based Settlement
Sabi Farm reserves the right to establish rolling reserves, temporary holds, or risk-based settlement delays for accounts exhibiting elevated fraud, dispute, or compliance risk. This includes but is not limited to accounts with sudden high transaction volume, unusual activity patterns, or an elevated rate of buyer complaints.
During a rolling reserve period, a defined percentage of incoming transaction funds may be withheld temporarily before being released to the seller’s wallet. The reserve percentage and duration will be communicated to the affected account and reviewed regularly.
Commission Deduction
Sabi Farm’s commission is automatically deducted from the transaction value before funds are credited to the seller’s wallet. A full transaction breakdown — including the commission amount deducted — is available in the seller’s account dashboard.
| Transaction Value | Account Type | Commission Rate | Amount Credited to Wallet |
| ₦100,000 (Fertilizer) | Free | 6% | ₦94,000 |
| ₦100,000 (Fertilizer) | Pro | 3% | ₦97,000 |
| ₦100,000 (Seeds) | Free | 6% | ₦94,000 |
| ₦100,000 (Seeds) | Pro | 5% | ₦95,000 |
Bank Account Requirements
To withdraw funds, sellers must have a verified Nigerian bank account registered to their Sabi Farm profile. The account name must match the registered business or personal name on the Platform.
- Bank account details can be added or updated in account settings.
- Changes to bank details may be subject to a 48-hour security review before withdrawals are processed.
- Sabi Farm is not liable for failed transfers caused by incorrect bank details provided by the seller.
Tax on Payments
All payments are made gross of any applicable taxes. Sellers are solely responsible for reporting and remitting any VAT, withholding tax, or income tax obligations arising from transactions on the Platform. Sabi Farm does not deduct or remit taxes on behalf of sellers.
Payment Disputes
If a seller believes a wallet credit is incorrect — for example, a commission was applied at the wrong rate — they should contact supportteam@sabi.farm within 14 days of the transaction date, quoting the order reference number. Sabi Farm will investigate and respond within 5 business days.
